Learn how to ride with timing and feel. If you want to improve your relationship & performance with your horse this clinic is for you. All disciplines and experience levels welcome.

As many of you know we met Trina at the Legacy of Legends event in Las Vegas. Owner of Hat Creek Ranch in Wyoming, Trina was born in Canada and runs Hat Creek ranch with her husband Peter Campbell clinician and horseman. Trina has travelled the world acquiring a variety of horsemanship skills ranging from riding world class jumpers to working ranch horses. Trina is currently managing their ranch in Wyoming starting colts, riding horses for the public and raising quarter horses and cattle and of course teaching clinics in her spare time.

After a most amazing experience hosting her here we have decided to try and do 2 clinics a year instead of going to the Legacy event as we saw such improvements in our horses and ourselves after our first weekend May 2014. It is the chance of a horse career to be mentored by such a deeply experienced person. Follow her blog, Your Inner Cowgirl and read about her experience on PEI in May 2014 here: . You can also contact Trina directly by email:

There will be 3 options for those interested:

#1 Foundation Horsemanship - a class to learn all the fundamentals of understanding your horse from the ground AND his back. Learn how to properly use the flag and other tools that can enhance your ability with your horse. Great for green horses or green riders as well as more experienced horse\rider combos looking to improve their horse's movement and understanding of aids. This class will be 3 hours Saturday June 27th and Sunday June 28th. Cost is $295 per participant.

#2 Horsemanship #1 under saddle. The students gain a new understanding of their horse -- how they move, why and when to direct. This class helps horse and human gain confidence, safety and the ability to understand the horse. **Trina offers Horsemanship 1-3 where each class becomes more advanced than the last – horsemanship 3 includes flying lead changes, working other horses and can include, jumping, cutting, dressage or trail work. As we have her more often we will consider one of the other classes. Remember horsemanship is easy -- get the horse to want to be with you whether you are on the ground or on his back!!!This class would run 3 hours both Saturday and Sunday. Cost is $295 per person.

#3 Cow Work. Students learn to understand how to get the best out of their horse while working cattle. Ever heard the cow is stupid? How many cowboys does it take to get a cow in a corral!?! Whether you are new to cattle or an old hand Trina will help you improve your skills while staying safe! More seasoned? Trina will enhance and refine your knowledge to produce a horse that’s a working partner for life! Although no set prerequisite it is highly recommended by Trina Campbell that you do Horsemanship #1 prior to doing the cow work. The cows will be worked either in the HJC arena or out in their field at the clinician's discretion. Cow work is both Saturday and Sunday Cost $295 per person.

PLEASE NOTE: You can choose any 2 selections for $500 or all 3 for $725.

HJC horses will be made available for ACTIVE clients who are interested in growing their skills.

To hold your spot a NON-Refundable deposit of 50% or full payment must be made as of September 20th. Cheques are to be made out to Trina Campbell. Email transfers can also be made and are to be sent to

We are keeping a list of those of you who are interested. Please send us a message with your preference of the class(es) you are interested in so we know which list to put you on.
