HJC is excited to be partnering with dog trainer Jane Northrup to present a dog training clinic specifically for the youth of your house hold.

This clinic series aims to use clicker training (positive reinforcement) to improve the dog handling and understanding skills of youth. All sessions will take place in our horse arena at HJC.

All you need is your own dog!

This clinic series will be offered in 2 age groups: 10 - 12 and 13 - 16 years of age with a maximum of 5 participants (and their trusty dogs) per group. Participants should be strong enough to handle their dogs. Clinics will run on Wednesday evenings starting July 6th and ending August 3rd.

The first lesson on July 6th will be without your dog - with Jane demonstrating certain skills with her own dog and what can be expected as we go forward. Parents are welcome to stay for this portion of the program.

Dogs must be older than 6 months of age and other dog friendly. There's no such thing as not being able to teach an old dog new tricks!

Price for the 5 week session $125 HST included. Please contact Ellen at: info@thehughesjonescentre.ca for more information.
