HJC needs your help.

As many of you are aware HJC is in the path of the future Cornwall bypass. Although the news of this is bitter-sweet we have never shied away from new beginnings and welcome the challenge of improving HJC so in it's 2.0 form we are able to serve our community and province better than ever before.

Unfortunately, this government is proving extremely challenging to communicate with.

We are struggling to keep the attention of the department of Transportation, Infrastructure and Energy (TIE) while we navigate our relocation. In fact, there have been times we couldn't get a response from them at all.

For HJC to continue on in 2017\18 we need to begin negotiations with the PEI government ASAP, as securing land for our relocation hinges on their outcome.

Since introducing ourselves especially to the premier and the ministers hasn't been successful of late I'm reaching out to all of you for your help.

Using #WeAreHJC please tag as many photos as you can - new, old, selfies (there's no limit) and introduce yourself to our government. Tag Wade MacLauchlan, Paula Biggar (minister of TIE) or your MLA. Send a picture every time you think of us or the bypass. Let them know who we are, what we do and that HJC matters to all of us.

Let's keep this campaign as positive as HJC is and show people near and far what we are capable of.

Because #WeAreHJC.

Hello, World!

**Post Script: Since we launched #WeAreHJC (November 28th) we achieved our first sit down meeting with TIE (December 2nd). This is working. You are working. Your voices matter. Please keep it up until we are fully secure in our new home. Much love friends. Thank-you - you are amazing!
